Is an MRI or PET better in diagnosing cardiac sarcoidosis?

The answer is that they both have their strengths and are complementary. But, I am not keen on the idea of sending every patient with possible sarcoid for two tests, so, I am trying to refine my approach here. Although the n is small, this original study from Hopkins shows us that, with respect to risk stratification for ventricular arrhythmias, MRI appears to be superior to PET.
