Do patients with dilated/ectatic coronary arteries need full anticoagulation?

Limited data, but what we do have suggests no, not routinely in the absence of thrombus. Antiplatelet therapy appears to offer adequate protection without significantly increasing risk. I’m attaching a pretty good review article that covers this topic.
